TO: Authors of Proposals for the 28thEzra Pound International Conference, University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain, June 25-29, 2019
On behalf of the Advisory Board of the Ezra Pound International Conference (EPIC) I am pleased to notify you that your paper proposal for the 28th EPIC-Salamanca 2019 has been accepted. Papers will be given in concurrent sessions, from Wednesday morning, 26 June, through Saturday afternoon, 29 July, as time permits. Specific sessions and times will be announced at a later date, but your paper will definitely be scheduled. Please remember that the time of delivery for each paper should be no more than 20 minutes (approximately 2000 words). Because of the high number of papers scheduled, it is imperative participants carefully observe this time limit.
Since the EPIC has no supporting budget, each participant will be responsible for paying his or her own expenses to attend the conference. Very soon you will receive by email attachment the 2019 EPIC Registration Formwith information about registration fees, along with optional choices for the conference dinner, conference activities, and planned excursions before and after the actual conference dates. We will also send you a Tentative Overview of the conference schedule so you can plan your trip. As soon as they are ready, the Registration Form and Tentative Schedule will also be posted on the conference website:

When making your travel plans, keep in mind that there will be a walking tour and conference reception beforethe conference, Tuesday, 24 June, and a three-day, two-night excursion to Burgos, Medinaceli, and Madrid is being tentatively planned afterthe conference for Sunday-Tuesday, 30 June-2 July.
At your earliest convenience, please confirm by reply email that you still plan, indeed, to participate in the 28thEPIC-Salamanca conference.Failure to confirm in a timely fashion may result in removing your paper from the program.When you confirm, please verify for the EPIC program your name, affiliation, conference paper title, and preferred email address. Also, if for any reason you need a copy of this acceptance sent to you by regular posted mail, please send the address to which you would like it sent. Your confirmation should reach me no later than 1 February.
